New research lab positions WA as global energy hub leader and creates jobs

Mark McGowan has praised industry partners and The University of Western Australia (UWA) for a joint research laboratory that puts Western Australia as a global energy hub leader which help stimulate jobs.
Also announced was at the Resources Technology Showcase today was the opening of the Centre for Long Subsea Tiebacks Laboratory located at UWA.
The focus of the centre is groundbreaking subsea "tie-back" discoveries to help understand difficult deep-sea conditions. The centre will also allow research and technology to be brought together in one place.
