ConocoPhillips – consent for exploration drilling in the North Sea

Conoco Phillips have been given consent by the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway for exploration drilling in block 25/7 in the North Sea. The well has the working name of Hasselbaink. The location is in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, west of the Balder/Ringhorne fields. The Water depth at the site is 127 metres. Drilling is scheduled to begin in November 2019 and estimated to last at least 35 days. The consent also covers an option for a sidetrack. Well 25/7-9 S is to be drilled using the Leiv Eiriksson mobile drilling facility.
