Monday 10 October 2016

Sea Trucks has secured a contract to provide an accommodation vessel on a deep-water field off Nigeria for an unnamed international oil company.

The contractor’s principle Nigerian business West African Ventures, which won the award, will deploy its accommodation unit Jascon 30 for the work that is due to start later this month and has a firm duration of three months with extension options.

The vessel will provide accommodation for around 250 personnel as well as marine logistics support under the contract, for which a value was not disclosed.

Its 296-bed accommodation capacity will also be expanded with the installation of an additional module on the deck of the vessel.
