EDS Group Secures Cable Termination and Testing Work at Rampion

High voltage engineering specialist, EDS Group, has been chosen to complete cable termination and jointing work at Rampion Offshore Wind Farm.
The site which is based off the sussex coast in the UK will feature 116 turbines, each 3.45MW in capacity, giving the project a total generating capacity of 400MW.
Commencing in the autumn of 2016, EDS will be responsible for all of the offshore 33kV cable jointing, termination and testing work on the 116 turbine wind farm.
Importantly, EDS have been selected as a Tier 1 supplier, following a competitive tendering process, validating their standing in the marketplace as leaders in their field.
