The second offer of offshore permits for exploration and use of the subsoil for storing CO2 in the North Sea is now being postponed. According to the CO2 tender order, the tender was to open on 15 August 2023.

The first tender for offshore permits for exploration and use of the subsoil for the storage of CO 2 in the North Sea was initiated by the CO 2 tender order, after which applications for permits are opened on 15 August each year with a deadline for applications on 1 October of the same year.
