The offshore wind farms Vesterhav Syd and Vesterhav Nord receive permission for electricity production

On 11 July 2023, the Danish Energy Agency granted Vattenfall Vindkraft Vesterhav Syd P/S and Vattenfall Vindkraft Vesterhav Nord P/S permission to produce electricity from the offshore wind farms Vesterhav Syd and Vesterhav Nord, which is granted before a wind power plant is put into operation. The electricity production license is issued in accordance with Section 29 of the Act on the Promotion of Renewable Energy.

The two electricity production permits are valid for 25 years from the time of grid connection, which is the time when the first kWh is delivered to the collective electricity grid from the offshore wind farms.
