Welcon announced that they have been awarded to deliver 70 bottom sections, 34 middle sections and 34 top sections for the MHI Vestas offshore project named Moray East. The project is located north of Scotland and consists of 100 x 9.5 MW wind turbines. The sections shall be delivered from the 4th quarter of 2019 until the 4th quarter of 2020.

In addition to this Welcon has also been selected to deliver 14 onshore towers for Nordex. The towers are for two projects in Finland and one project in Ireland. The towers are going to be delivered in the period from August 2019 to October 2019.
