Major North Sea Contract Awarded to Fabricom Offshore Services

Leading engineering contractor Fabricom Offshore Services has been awarded a significant contract to provide engineering, procurement, construction and management services to Centrica Storage Limited (CSL) on their Rough Field platforms situated in the North Sea, 18 miles off the coast of East Yorkshire, the Framework also comprises options to provide support to the Easington terminal.
This five plus five year Framework will see Fabricom provide a variety of EPCM services including brownfield modifications, platform integrity and equipment upgrades, pre-decommissioning and decommissioning scopes on both platforms in the field.
Construction personnel have now been mobilised on both platforms to undertake a programme of work scopes.
This announcement follows the recent news that Fabricom have signed a 2 year contract extension with Bluewater for the provision of engineering, procurement, construction and associated services to the Bluewater fleet of Floating Production Storage and Offloading Vessel’s (FPSO), located internationally.
