New Module Ready for the Norwegian Sea

Wednesday 25 April 2018

The Dvalin project marks a new milestone as the 577-ton H25 module is prepared for transportation to the Heidrun platform in the Norwegian Sea.

On the 23rd April 2018, the module was moved 300 meters from the North Sea Hall to quay at the Aibel yard in Haugesund. The load out completes a nine-month long fabrication phase.

The load out went according to plan, and the module is now prepared for sail-out to Mekjarvik outside Stavanger. In Mekjarvik, the module will be lifted onto a Saipem heavy lift vessel. From there, Saipem will transport the module to the Heidrun platform for installation.
